Su graduated with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London and has been practising dentistry for over 15 years. She provides all kinds of general, cosmetic dentistry and paediatric dentistry. She promotes minimal intervention dentistry and believes patient input to be an essential ingredient to the treatment process. Patients regularly compliment her for being down to earth, reassuring and positive. By continually attending advanced training courses, she ensures her skills and knowledge are repeatedly refreshed and updated so she can provide expert safe and ethical treatment.

Su also provides facial aesthetics and is continually updating her skill to provide the most up to date techniques that achieve enhanced, natural looking results.

Tanya joined ABC Dental Surgery in April 2022 as our Practice Manager. Having worked as a Practice Manager since 2016 she started her career in dentistry 17 years ago; qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2009 whereby she obtained her National Certificate in Dental Nursing. Having taken on a more managerial role in her career Tanya enrolled on a management course and in 2014 was awarded a recognised management qualification through the ILM.

Tanya is responsible for the operations, compliance, and smooth running of the practice. She strives to make sure the practice is safe for both staff and patients and that the team work together to deliver a safe, professional, and high standard of care to each one of our patients. Her focus is the patient experience at ABC, and she is continuously looking at ways in which we can continue to improve our services to our patients and is here to answer any questions patients have about their treatment plans or about the services we provide at ABC.

Tanya is continually expanding her knowledge and skills and in 2023 enrolled on a Level 2 Certificate in Autism course.

When not at work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her husband and son and socialising with friends and family.

Andrew qualified at UCH London in 1987 and has worked at his own private practice in Surrey since qualifying. He is a firm believer that a visit to the dentist can and should be fun.

Andrew has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers. He has completed extensive year-long training courses, and gained certification in cosmetic dentistry at the Chris Orr Academy.

Andrew has extensive knowledge in all aspects of dentistry including Invisalign, and enjoys being able to transform his patients’ smiles.

Andrew likes treating nervous patients and children, putting them at ease and demonstrating that dentistry doesn’t have to be painful or difficult. Andrew is looking forward to meeting the patients at ABC and working with the team.

Meet Oana, our Specialist Orthodontist. She earned her dental qualification from the University of Medicine & Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest in 2012. Oana pursued further specialisation in the field of Prosthodontics and completed a Master’s Degree in 2016. During her academic journey, she was honoured with a scholarship and actively participated in a 4-year Doctorate Program, focusing on dental occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorders. Her research thesis received the highest distinction in July 2017 and gained her a PhD in Dental Sciences.

Driven by a long-term ambition, Oana embarked on a three-year Orthodontic Specialty training, which she successfully accomplished in 2019, earning the title of Specialist Orthodontist. She is registered on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics.

In 2022, Oana graduated from the University of Turin with a Master’s degree in Aligner Orthodontics, with a particular emphasis on digital and aesthetic orthodontic solutions.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Oana actively engages with organisations like the European Association of Aligners, American Association of Orthodontics, and the World Federation of Orthodontics. She constantly attends orthodontic conferences, consistently keeping herself updated on the latest developments in the field.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Oana cherishes her role as a mother and enjoys spending quality time with her family. She has a passion for travelling and handcrafting, finding joy in exploring new destinations and engaging in creative pursuits.

Dr Claudia Bortolaia graduated with honours in Dentistry in 1999 at the University of Pisa, Italy. Soon after qualifying she started to dedicate herself to paedodontics and Orthodontics.

Soon after qualifying she started to dedicate herself to Paedodontics and Orthodontics and she has worked consistently in this field ever since. Claudia is has an exceptionally good chairside manner and children warm to her easily.

Stefan is a United Kingdom, European and worldwide accredited Specialist Endodontist and Restorative Dentist. He has obtained two distinctions in double master’s degrees in endodontology and restorative dentistry from King’s College London, being described as one the top overall clinicians in Endodontology and Restorative dentistry.

He is part of the Endodontology research team at King’s College London that has the highest impact factor of any institution internationally in research journals, and thus, he offers the most advanced treatments that have only been discovered, and are not available to even other Specialist Endodontists in the world.

He is a specialist clinical teacher and lecturer for Guy’s Hospital, London, and represents King’s College London at international conferences.

Mihaela has been in dentistry for over 25 years and is one of our most experienced dental nurses. She is incredibly passionate about patient care. Utilising her warm and friendly approach, she endeavours to make all patients feel welcome and at home at ABC Dental. In her spare time, she loves cooking especially baking, travelling reading and being in nature.

Marco has over 12 years experience working as an Oral Surgeon and has a special interest in ‘all on four’, otherwise known as teeth in a day. He has completed a PhD in Implantology and Implant Prosthodontics. He is meticulous with attention to detail and strives for clinical excellence.

George was awarded the prestigious MClinDent in Peridontology with Distinction from The Royal London Hospital in 2007. He was subsequently offered a clinical tutor position at this leading institute and now takes on periodontal referrals at our practice. George is able to treat the full spectrum of gum conditions including bleeding gums, gum recession and ‘gummy’ smiles where re-contouring may be required.

Claudia joined ABC Dental Surgery in July 2023 bringing with her over 14years experience working in the dental industry; to develop her skills and understanding of dental treatments Claudia qualified as a dental nurse over 10years ago and now solely works as a dental receptionist. She particularly enjoys meeting all our patients and helping assist them with their appointments and any queries they may have and aims to provide each patient with great customer service. In her spare time Claudia enjoys walks and travelling to different countries.
